FM House

The FM house is situated in Chania, Crete in the region of Sternes. Positioned to face the Souda Bay in the southern direction, the house benefits from the steep topography of the site and is designed as a two-level structure.

Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a prominent entrance featuring captivating water elements.

Access to the upper level is granted through this entrance, where a grand circular staircase extends down to the lower level. The architectural design incorporates clean and minimalist lines, resulting in sleek volumes with ample use of large windows. These windows offer breathtaking views while allowing an abundance of natural light to illuminate the interior spaces.

The choice of materials plays a pivotal role in the design concept. The interaction between wood and travertine establishes a noteworthy dialogue with modern black elements.
